Rakomelo (Raki & Honey) Liquor Recipe

Since the weather is getting colder and colder, what is better than a couple of shotglasses with warmed and freshly prepared rakomelo to enjoy with good company and an assortment of appetizers ? 

 

This recipe is the easiest possible, as you can imagine. The only prerequisite is: for top taste, you need to use top products!

 

Here are the INGREDIENTS: 

 

250ml of Greek Raki or Tsikoudia

4 tablespoons of Greek Raw Honey

1 cinnamon stick

2 cloves

 

PREPARATION:

 

Boil all ingredients for approximately one minute.Pour in a small glass jug. Serve it hot in shotglasses. 

 

Enjoy responsibly and since this is quite "heavy" for the head, do not forget to accompany with greek meze.
